Trey Songz immediately took to Twitter on Wednesday to address some recent allegations against him that caused him to trend on social media.
In a recent interview with Adam 22, Celina Powell, who is well-known for airing out different celebrities, talked about multiple things industry related. At one point, she was joined by her friend Aliza, who had some pretty eye-opening allegations about Trey Songz.
During the interview, she explicitly claimed that after having sexual intercourse with the singer that he urinated on her and that he wouldn’t let her leave the hotel room that they were in.
Once Trey got wind of what was going on, and what people were saying in response to the interview. He took to Twitter to address the matter, and to also release some screenshots of messages between him Aliza.
Trey said, “Ya’ll stay ready to believe a bird.”
He then proceeded to drop messages, which proved that he and Aliza were definitely familiar with each other at some point. However, somewhere along the line, he asked her to stop reaching out to him.
He continued to say, “I usually stay quiet on this, but I feel that in many ways the moment to fight for the women who actually have suffered harassment and abuse on various levels, has been hijacked by those who find it convenient for themselves to come up as they seek to destroy someone’s life.”
Trey then provided text messages, before saying, “I brush it off every time but once you have an allegation no matter it’s true weight in validation, it’s now happened once and to some will be believable from that moment forward. None of that happened.”
Celina wasn’t too far behind with her response as well.
The moment of being accused again also promoted Trey to address the previous situation where he was accused of assaulting a woman in Miami.
He said, “Ya’ll remember Jane Doe claimed I sexually assaulted her in Miami? She wants me to pay for her therapy and the rest of her school cause all the trauma she’s been through. Pls, read.”
