Travis Scott was slated to appear at a pre-Suer Bowl Party in Minneapolis Feb. 3rd. Unbeknownst to the world, and most specifically the party promoter and Travis’ fans, Kylie Jenner had given birth to Stormi just two days prior to. Travis never showed up and the promoter is salty because Travis was paid a six-figure advance and allegedly never reversed the payment after not showing up.
According to Blast, the promoter paid Travis $150K of the $200K fee in advance for the performance. Travis reportedly “refused to show up to the event.” Some have attributed his absence to weather conditions — but considering the fact that Kylie had secretly given birth within the same time period, it all comes together.
On top of the 6-figure advance, the promoter claims that they also put out “Significant sums Plaintiff paid to advertise the event, lease a large entertainment venue and to hire a staff of waiters, bartenders and other assistants for the night.” In addition, they claim to have suffered “reputational harm” due to their failure to deliver their promoted performance.
