Social media users reacted to Lanez’s release in The Shade Room’s comment section. Many appeared stunned at the quality of the music he was able to release while incarcerated.
While Instagram user @flylifestyl3 added, “If yall really had sense , u can tell Tory recorded this in jail, if he didn’t he would have a few flow switch ups and adlibs! This is perfect for someone locked up! But he made it sound so good yall can’t believe he actually recorded it in jail”

As The Shade Room previously reported, Lanez initially appeared to tease his upcoming releases earlier this week. At the time, the rapper’s Instagram account shared audio of what appeared to be a call he made from prison.
