Days later, and Drake getting booed off stage at Tyler The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw music festival is still the topic of conversation. Many have weighed in on the situation—and now Tory Lanez is offering his two cents.
As we previously reported, earlier this week a video went viral of Drake performing at the Camp Flog Gnaw festival and getting completely booed off stage due to angry fans who wanted to see Frank Ocean instead. Tyler The Creator, the festival’s organizer, later defended Drake and called out his fans for their behavior. The latest person to comment on the ordeal is Tory Lanez, who explained what Drake should have done to avoid the situation in the first place.
In a recent interview with Real 92.3 in Los Angeles, Tory said this:
“I think personally if the people weren’t waiting on somebody else, I don’t think that it would have been that. You know, me and Drake laughed about it. We was deadass on text laughing about it. But it’s just like ‘boy, you know you had no business being at Camp Flog Gnaw.’ He was just laughing like, ‘yo that’s one for the books bro.’ It just didn’t matter to him.”
If you’ll recall, in the early days of Tory’s career he and Drake were not the best of friends, but the two have since patched things up and developed a friendship. They’ve become so cool that Tory texted him about the incident shortly after it happened.
Roommates, what are your thoughts on this?
