Congratulations are in order for The Game who recently revealed he’s expecting another child.
On Saturday, August 3, the ‘Tacos & Shawarma’ podcast took to Instagram to share a clip from a recent sitdown with the rapper. In the clip, the host of the show told Game that she “heard” he’s expecting twins. However, the rapper corrected the host and revealed that he’s expecting one child.
“Twins? Yeah, you gotta stay off the internet,” he said. “Yeah, I’m expecting one child.”
The host then asked The Game how he feels about the new chapter unfolding in his life.
“I think about it in terms of uh, like years, right? Like, I’m 44, so when my new child is 21, I’ll be 65, right?” he said. “And that seems kind of old until you start thinking about who’s 65 now.”
The rapper explained that some stars approaching 60 years old are still looking “young and cool.” Therefore, he’s not worried about the age gap between him and his unborn child.
“I think at the end of the day, it’s new life, man,” he said. “It’s gonna be a different parenting experience from when I was younger… so it’ll just be interesting to parent at this age…”
Social media users reacted to The Game’s statements in The Shade Room’s comment section. Some parents shared how their experience has evolved as they’ve gotten older.
Instagram user @theogfamilyhtx wrote, “With age comes wisdom. I’m an advocate for having babies when you’re older and more established in life. I love this mindset ❤️ live your life Jayceon.”
Meanwhile, others speculated about how the mother of The Game’s unborn child may be.
As The Shade Room previously reported, Shaniece Hairston revealed her pregnancy in June. At the time, Hairston did not disclose the identity of the father of her unborn child.
Later that month, In Touch Weekly published a report about Hairston’s pregnancy. Additionally, the outlet alleged that a source informed them that The Game is the father of her child.
The outlet reports that Hairston will be a first-time mom. However, The Game is a father to a son and daughter, whom he shares with his ex, Tiffany Cambridge. Additionally, the rapper also shares a son with his ex, Aleska Jordan.
