We all know The Game has been in the hip-hop game for a while and we’re sure he has plenty of stories to tell that can last a lifetime. Recently, he reflected on the time he received a phone call from Michael Jackson, and Michael reportedly tried to convince him to end his beef with 50 Cent.
During an interview with Hip-Hop DX, Game detailed the moment and said, “That was weird as f*ck. It’s like, this ain’t how I wanna meet Michael Jackson or talk to Michael Jackson. I kind of felt like Mike was on some lame sh*t. Like, who sent you type sh*t, but at the same time it was like—you know that voice, Michael Jackson’s voice that you hear. Like, that n*gga wasn’t talking like that. It was like, low-key deep. You could still tell it was Michael Jackson but it was more like…regular.”
He continued to explain that Michael revealed he was a big fan of his music, and even asked him about some of the lyrics in his songs. He continued to say that Michael really wanted him to end his beef with 50 Cent so that they could all work on some music together.
The Game continued to say that Michael said, “I think that you and Fifty did great work. It would be a travesty if the world never got to hear you guys again. Would you be open to having a conversation and squashing that beef and doing something for my album?”
However, Game says he wasn’t with the idea at that time because he and 50 Cent were deep within their beef. Of course, fast-forwarding to now, we know that beef is far behind them.
