In recent times we have seen the personal belongings to some of our favorite artists be auctioned off following their deaths.
One artist whose belongings have been auctioned off several times is none other than Tupac Shakur.
Now the BMW that he was riding in during the 1996 shooting in Las Vegas, which eventually claimed his life, is now up for sale.
According to TMZ, an auction house is putting the vehicle up for sale, and it can go to anyone who can come up with a total of $1.5 million. We all know that Suge Knight was behind the wheel of the car, and Tupac was in the passenger seat when the car was shot up on September 7th, 1996.
Unfortunately Tupac passed away a few days later on September 13th.
Since then the car has been restored, but a close inspection reveals its “bullet-ridden history,” which means the imprints from the bullets can still be seen on the inside of the door panels.
The Las Vegas police impounded the car following the shooting and auctioned it off. The car has had a few different owners before finding it’s most recent one.
The car reportedly still has more than 90,000 miles.
