With just two days away from Christmas, celebrities are blessing their fans left and right. Mother, wife, and singer Teyana Taylor shared on Twitter that she would be blessing fans with money coming out of her OWN account. Teyana tweeted, “I wanna give $500 each to a few people towards Xmas gifts. This ain’t no sponsored s**t. It’s coming from my heart & straight out of my account, lol. So I wanna give to those who are really in need & could use a Lil extra holiday cash. Especially if u have kids. Happy holidays.”
Teyana’s mentions quickly filled up with folks sharing their CashApp names. Not only that, but they also gave heartfelt pleas on why they needed the funds. One user, Kenya Clay, tweeted, “Man, I could use that for real. My grandfather just passed with no insurance policy, so my cousin and I are working hard this holiday season to lay him to rest.” Teyana responded, “Send ya cash app name. Keep ya head up, queen.” Kenya responded, “Teyana Taylor is a real one. Been saying that since seeing her Sweet 16 on MTV. She is for the people. God bless you, sis. She really just blessed me! And my family.”
Teyana kept on giving to her fans. Another user, Vee Lopez, tweeted, “Pray you see this. I do this for these beautiful boys. They have been thru a lot in the last year, and it’s a blessing to see anything. I’d love to pay it forwards as well. Especially in the last two weeks where four deaths happened in my life that just have been so hard on us.” Teyana told Vee to send her CashApp name and acknowledged the payment was sent.
One of the most touching recipients was Akilah, who asked for money on behalf of her pregnant sister. She tweeted, “Not for me but for my big sister Sakuwa. She currently has a 3yr old and is pregnant with another child due in April. She suffers from depression, and this pregnancy has been really hard for her, and this Christmas will especially be rough.”
Teyana quickly responded, “say less.” Akilah shared a video with her sister showing her gratitude and thanking Teyana for the money she received. Teyana responded, “Y’all finna make me cryyyyy. Happy holidays y’all.”
