Okay, Roomies, now y’all know it isn’t easy being a black person in any workplace, especially being a black woman. If y’all recall, Gabrielle Union spoke out about her issues as a black woman in the entertainment industry, and specifically, her experience working on ‘America’s Got Talent’, and Terry Crews had a lil’ something to say too!
Just a a few weeks back, Gabrielle took to twitter, expressing that she was no longer part of the AGT crew, and spoke about the toxic and racist environment she was forced to work in. Well, Terry Crews, who is still employed at the show, says differently.
Terry says he did not have the same experience as Gab. In fact, he says AGT is “the most diverse place that I have ever been in my time in entertainment.”
“I can’t speak for sexism because I’m not a woman, but I can speak on behalf of any racism comments that was never my experience on AGT,” he says. “In fact it was the most diverse place I’ve been in my 20 years in entertainment. The top 10 acts were asian, women, older younger, black white, it was everything in the gamete.
Well, Gabrielle had a few things to say in response to Terry’s comments, and she took to Twitter to express herself.
