Tekashi 6ix9ine had a court appearance in New York today for a sexual misconduct case that stems from a few years back. According to TMZ, he pled guilty to one count of Use of a Child in a Sexual Performance in 2015 but the judge gave him a conditional release and deferred his sentence for 2 years.
Under the terms of the deal, he was supposed to stay out of trouble, complete community service, get mental health treatment, and write an apology letter to the victim.
Well, they are claiming 6ix9ine violated the agreement because he’s been arrested a few times since then. The Blast reports that the Manhattan D.A. Office is now recommending the rapper serve 1-3 years in a state prison and register as a sex offender.
“Defendant has had over two years to demonstrate to this Court that the role he played in the sexual exploitation of a thirteen-year-old child was an aberration in his otherwise law abiding life. He has failed to do so.”
While walking into the courthouse, 69 told TMZ’s cameras he was “scared as f**k right now.”
The judge pushed the sentencing back again and he’s due back in court on October 2nd.
