Just when we all thought the drama between Meek Mill and Tekashi 69 had calmed down after their argument last week, Tekashi has reignited it on Instagram. Earlier today, Tekashi shared a video clip to the song “Za Za,” which shows footage of the argument between the two rappers.
Tekashi is surrounded by plenty of gorgeous women in the music video, including Influencers, The Double Dose Twins, and others. Right after the twins are seen twerking, the video cuts and shows the heated exchange that fell short of a full-on physical fight with him and Meek. In the video, viewers can see Meek presumably with his crew and security when Tekashi appeared and started yelling at him. The two rappers and their respective security teams got into a shouting match in which Tekashi accused Meek of working with the cops.
Tekashi captioned the Instagram post, “ALL THESE RAPPERS GOT MY NAME IN THEY MOUTH, BUT WHEN THEY ME IN REAL LIFE THEY GOT EVERY EXCUSE IN THE WORLD. I KNOW! ZAZA. THE KING IS FU**NG BACKKKKKKKKK. ZAZA OUT NOW GO WATCH SHARE REPOST.” Several Roommates left comments saying that Tekashi was being petty and clout chasing by featuring Meek. Wild N’ Out castmate Zoie stepped into The Shade Room and commented, “That was the whole purpose anyway!!!!! THIS MAN IS A CLOUT DEMON!” Tekashi also stepped in and commented, “Stop making excuses for him… HE TWEETED ABOUT ME FOR TWO YEARS STRAIGHT .. but when he saw me IN PERSON he was all scared. “He didn’t want to go to jail.” Another excuse. IF YALL MAD, JUST SAY THAT.”
Just last Sunday, Meek dropped he dropped what seemed to be a diss song against Tekashi. In the song, he speaks about snitching and flexing on social media. Take a listen below.
