A New Jersey elementary school teacher was clearly about that life, because he went to school late 111 times with no cares or worries!
15-year veteran New Brunswick public school math teacher, Arnold Anderson, was late to school 111 times in a two year period and still was able to keep his job.
Anderson told the Association Press, “I have a bad habit of eating breakfast in the morning and I lost track of time.”
The school district didn’t just let him slide, they tried to fire him from his elementary school teaching position, but their case was overruled.
The state arbitrator said that the district failed to formally notify Anderson of his wrongdoing and didn’t give him at least 90 days to get his act together.
So what’s Anderson’s verdict? Well, he is suspended with no pay until January, then he’s back to racking in the big bucks, his $90,000 a year salary!
In Anderson’s defense he said that even though he was late he still gave a “superb educational experience to his grateful students.”
