Taylor Swift might be the woman of the year after her words sparks change with Apple!
Yesterday we reported that the singer posted a letter to her Tumblr criticizing Apple for trying to offer up her services as well as other artists services for free during Apple Music’s three month free trial period for its subscribers.
“We don’t ask you for free iPhones,” she added. “Please don’t ask us to provide you with our music for no compensation.”
Well it looks like her voice has been heard because Apple has since changed its policy! Last night, Eddy Cue, senior vice president of Internet Software and Services, responded to Swift’s demands and confirmed that Apple will now pay its artists during that three month period via Twitter:
