The Fox hit show Empire is returning for its third season this September, and they are already giving us another reason to watch!
It looks like Taye Diggs will be racking up some coins this Fall as he has been casted in a recurring role on the show.
Cookie is about to have a field day with this one!
According to TV Guide, Mr. Diggs will be playing Angelo Dubois, a city councilman from a wealthy, and well respected New York family hunty!
His character is being compared to none other than our president, Barack Obama, due to the characters focus on community organizing and local politics.
The thought of how the writers are going to fit such a comparison into the story line makes me want to watch it even more!
Other guest stars on this season of Empire include Birdman and French Montana!
