#Roommates, Tamar Braxton is a woman of many talents, which fans have had the opportunity to see (and hear) for the last several years. Well, if you’ve been missing her on you TV screens you’re in luck—it’s just been announced that Tamar will be hosting a brand new show for VH1.
@Variety reports, Tamar Braxton is headed to VH1 as the host of the new reality series “To Catch A Beautician” along with Michelle Obama’s former hairstylist, Johnny Wright. The series has been picked up for 20 episodes, in which Tamar and Johnny will come to the rescue of clients whose hair has been botched by a beautician from their past.
Tamar and Johnny will then help the disgruntled clients confront the hairstylists who damaged their hair. The beauticians will be put through a rigorous hair boot camp by Johnny to ensure that this time the client will be left satisfied. Now that they have a series of new skills and techniques, the beauticians will have a chance to redeem themselves by redoing their client’s hair. “To Catch A Beautician” premieres May 25th at 9 PM on VH1.
2020 is shaping up to be a big comeback year for Tamar, as she not only has her new VH1 show coming, but there are also rumors that she has a solo reality series in the works at WE TV called “Get Your Life.” She will also be featured in the upcoming sequel to the 2017 crime drama “True To The Game” and her new song “Crazy Kind Of Love” (which is on the film’s soundtrack) is making its way up the charts.
“To Catch A Beautician” will be added to VH1’s popular Monday night line-up which includes the “Love & Hip Hop” franchise and continues to be a ratings hit with fans.
