Roommates, Tamar Braxton has been extremely open about her process of healing and reevaluating her life after a very rocky 2020. In addition to her new podcast where she discusses all the ways to build yourself up and be better—she also shares her new insight on social media, and her latest post may be the one fans never saw coming.
Aside from being an amazing singer/songwriter and Grammy-nominated artist, Tamar Braxton also entertained us courtesy of her popular family reality show, “Braxton Family Values,” for several years. However, it was that show that ultimately took a dark turn in her life and her mental health.
Following the ending of her marriage, her mental health breakdown that led to a suicide attempt and a recent abusive relationship that ended with assault charges, Tamar is now in the process of rebuilding herself and her brand.
In a recent post to her Instagram stories, she wrote a message that placed the blame for the issues in her life on herself instead of someone else. Tamar wrote, “For a long time I thought it was everyone else…the problem was me. #stayunderconstruction.”
As we previously reported, following Tamar’s recent appearance on Taraji P. Henson’s talk show, she posted a very lengthy message of thanks to her regarding their conversation about what led to her suicide attempt last year. “I love you my sister,” she wrote at the time.
