Tamar Braxton is pleading for a judge to sign off on her divorce from Vince Herbert as soon as possible.
According to documents obtained by The Blast, Tamar is asking to be granted a default judgment in the case because Vince has not responded to her petition for divorce.
Tamar served Vince on September 6th, and he was given 30 days to respond in court. However, Vince has failed to show up in court or file any court documents within that time period. So now Tamar is looking for a judge to finalize the divorce without him.
The judge could decide the amount of money in child support and spousal support, without Vince showing up. The judge can also evenly split their community property.
She is also seeking primary custody of their son Logan.
As we previously reported, Tamar originally filed for divorce from Vince in October 2017. However, legal documents showed little action was taken at the time. The Los Angeles County court sent a warning to the singer back in August, stating if she didn’t move forward in the case, it would be dismissed.
Since then Tamar has not only moved forward with the divorce by serving Vince, she has also moved on to another relationship. She talked about her new relationship on the Wendy Williams Show back in September and let viewers know she is very happy.
When it comes to her artistry, Tamar is currently starring in the stage play “Redemption of a Dogg,” alongside Snoop Dogg.
