Now that Tory Lanez has been found guilty in his high-profile assault trial, 50 Cent is issuing an apology for trolling and publicly doubting Megan Thee Stallion.
In the latest installment of BigBoyTV, 50 Cent shocked fans by getting the apology off of his chest.
“Imma apologize to Megan Thee Stallion. I said some things…On social media, I posted things [after] she was with Gayle.”
50 Cent was referring to a meme he uploaded on Instagram, which mocked Megan being shot. It specifically shows Megan’s face edited onto Ricky during that scene in Boyz n the Hood.
As for what prompted this upload, 50 explained that he began to cast serious doubt on Megan’s side of the story after her interview with Gayle King, as he didn’t believe the “Pressurelicious” rapper’s claim about not being intimate with Tory Lanez.
“I was like, ‘Ah, she lyin’…From that, it felt like she was lyin’, to me.”
He noted, “I wasn’t being supportive of her at that point.”
As the rapper continued to speak on the matter, he opened up about what led him to apologize.
“The only reason why I feel like I should apologize to her is because, when I heard the phone conversation, that made me feel like, ‘Oh, now I know what happened.'”
For context, 50 Cent was referring to a phone call that Tory made to Kelsey from jail, which was reported on by The Shade Room.
He added, “I’m sure that that was what swayed people.”
As 50’s apology began to circulate, people were quick to express their surprise especially considering he usually stands 10 toes down when it comes to his mess.
In fact, numerous people proclaimed that this was a sign that hell had frozen over.
However, people didn’t exactly let 50 off the hook.
As for Megan’s stance, the rapper hasn’t publicly acknowledged 50’s apology on social media.
