Growing up as a teenager, Taco Bell was always there when I wanted to eat for a minimal price when I went to grab food after school with my friends. Taco Bell is supreme, no pun intended, when it came to their discount tacos and low priced burritos. Even if Taco Bell isn’t your first choice, it sure hits the spot after club hoppin’.
In addition to their late night menu, Taco Bell is adding an actual nightcap to the mix with the launch of a new custom Taco Bell wine for a limited time in Canada, according to CNN Business. The launch is to complement the new limited time offered “Toasted Cheesy Chalupa” joined to the Canadian Taco Bell Menu, according to Taco Bell Canada’s press release.
While Taco Bell is solidified in the fast food game and known well for popular items like their ‘Supreme Tacos,’ ‘Crunchwrap Supreme’ and the ‘Cheesy Gordita Crunch’, combining wine with tacos is a unique merger.
According to the Taco Bell Canada press release “Wine and cheese are simply meant to be together, so launching a new wine to go with the craveable, cheddary Toasted Cheesy Chalupa made perfect sense,” said Kat Garcia, Director of Brand Marketing. “At Taco Bell Canada, we love to raise our glass to big, bold ideas that elevate our menu items, and pairing our Toasted Cheesy Chalupa with this Jalapeño Noir is no exception.”
The limited edition launch of the wine is a part of “a broader menu shakeup that saw some fan-favorites be removed to make place for new items” according to CNN Business.
According to the press release, the special noir won’t be offered in the United States, and will only be available on the Taco Bell Canada website in select locations while supplies last. We may not get the wine, but we will get the Chalupa come November according to CNN Business.
For all of our Roomies from Canada, please tell us what that Taco Bell wine do.
