A production company claims that T.I. allegedly skipped out on a scheduled performance at a high school graduation party, and now they are looking for him to pay up.
According to TMZ, Plant Productions said they were a little hesitant on booking T.I. for the graduation party in Florida following the shooting that took place at his New York City concert back in May.
The documents state that T.I.’s team reassured them that they didn’t have anything to worry about. Taking their word, the production company claims that they increased their promotion to sell tickets to the show.
The company claims that a few days later T.I. backed out of the show. Now they are suing T.I. for the $300,000 spent on marketing and licensing costs, and also $90,000 to book the trip.
A rep from T.I.’s team has yet to comment on the matter.
