A stabbing attack involving a teen and a stranger in Brooklyn has NYPD on the hunt for a suspect. According to CBS News, a 16-year-old girl was walking into a Brooklyn juice bar when a stranger stabs her unexpectedly on camera. A camera facing the juice bar’s entrance also caught the unprovoked attack on video. The startling footage released by the NYPD Wednesday shows how the strange man quickly stabbed the teen and fled the scene.
Surveillance Video Shows Man Randomly Stabbing Teen In Brooklyn
In the surveillance video, the unnamed teen was entering the Urban Juice Bar and Grill. The footage shows the incident that happened on Sunday, May 22nd on Rockaway Parkway in Brownsville at about 6 p.m. That’s when her attacker, with a knife in one hand and a bottle of water in the other, snuck up behind her. The teen appeared to be focused on entering the juice bar, unaware that the man was even coming toward her back with a sharp knife in hand.
You can see the assailant jabbed the teen in her back left shoulder with the knife very quietly and dashed off. Reportedly, medics took the teen to Brookdale University Hospital. Medics treated and released the teen.
NYPD Asks For Help Identifying The Suspect
The identity of the suspect in this Brooklyn teen stabbing is still. unknown as the assailant is still at large. Cops are asking for the public’s help identifying the stabber. He’s described as about 150 pounds with a thin build, black hair, and a goatee. On the day on the attack, he was wearing a black T-shirt. HIs shirt had a white lion image on the back. He also wore gray sweatpants, and white sneakers.
