Whew chileee, Donnie and Stormy Daniels are going at it on Twitter today y’all! Yesterday, a federal judge dismissed the adult star’s defamation lawsuit against Trump, and he responded to the victory on Twitter by calling her “Horseface.”
“‘Federal Judge throws out Stormy Danials lawsuit versus Trump. Trump is entitled to full legal fees.’ @FoxNews Great, now I can go after Horseface and her 3rd rate lawyer in the Great State of Texas,” he tweeted. “She will confirm the letter she signed! She knows nothing about me, a total con!”
Stormy Daniels — who alleges she had an affair with Trump in 2006 — responded on Twitter by saying, “Game on, Tiny.”
“Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present your president. In addition to his…umm…shortcomings, he has demonstrated his incompetence, hatred of women and lack of self control on Twitter AGAIN,” she wrote. “And perhaps a penchant for bestiality. Game on, Tiny.”
Daniels filed her defamation suit back in April after Trump tweeted about a sketch of a man who she claims threatened her to stay quiet about the alleged affair. However, the court ruled that Trump’s tweets were protected by the First Amendment.
“Mr. Trump’s tweet is a non-actionable opinion that cannot be the subject of a defamation claim,” the ruling read. “The First Amendment protects this type of rhetorical statement.”
As a result, Daniels was ordered to pay for Trump’s legal fees. “No amount of spin or commentary by Stormy Daniels or her lawyer, Mr. Avenatti, can truthfully characterize today’s ruling in any way other than total victory for President Trump and total defeat for Stormy Daniels,” Trump’s attorney Charles Harder said in a statement.
USA Today reports that Daniels’ legal team has filed an appeal. “Re Judge’s limited ruling: Daniels’ other claims against Trump and Cohen proceed unaffected. Trump’s contrary claims are as deceptive as his claims about the inauguration attendance,” attorney Michael Avenatti tweeted. “We are confident in a reversal.”
Avenatti also tweeted that Trump is “a disgusting misogynist and an embarrassment to the United States.”
“Bring everything you have, because we are going to demonstrate to the world what a complete shyster and liar you are,” he posted. “How many other women did you cheat on your wife with while you had a baby at home?”
According to reports, Daniels signed a nondisclosure agreement and accepted a $130,000 payment days before the 2016 election. She agreed to keep quiet about the alleged affair, which she claims took place with Donnie back in 2006.
The Trump administration has denied the affair.
