The wife of Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss, Allison Holker, has shared her first video message to fans since the passing of her husband in December.
Holker took to Instagram this past weekend to share a video message with fans. This was the first time Holker shared a post on her Instagram profile since January 13. And it was the first time she spoke publicly to fans and social media users regarding her husband’s passing.
Holker started the video by thanking fans.
I just want to say thank you, for all the love and support that you guys have sent to me and my family at this time. It has been very challenging and emotional but you guys have brought so much hope and inspiration to us by sharing stories and memories and moments as to the different ways that Stephen has impacted your life…
She then went on to reflect on her husband’s memory and life.
He was someone that was just beautiful, and he lived his life from love. And he made you feel a certain way…
Boss’ wife then spoke about her family’s purpose to viewers.
My family and I have always said that we wanted to make sure that our purpose was lived out by bringing joy to people — joy to people’s homes — from dance or love. And that’s not going to change for us.
Holker explained that it’s “going to feel a little different.”
But we know that that’s our purpose so we’ll still do that to this day.
She added that she hopes the world can remember that feeling that her husband ignited in them through his presence.
And I hope that we can remember the feeling that he gave us. And remember that we can still move from there. We can still move and choose love, and we can still choose grace, and we can still choose kindness. And I will always be there for you guys and I appreciate you guys being there for us at this moment. It goes a really far way for us.
Holker ended the video by encouraging fans and viewers to remember that they are special. And also make an impact on the world.
Ellen Degeneres took to social media earlier this month to reflect on Boss’ life and their friendship. Boss worked alongside Degeneres as a DJ, dancer, and occasional host on the Ellen DeGeneres Show before his passing.
As The Shade Room previously reported, Boss’ wife recently filed for control of his estate after the entertainer passed without having a will. In the state of California, the motion is a “standard procedure” where the surviving spouse needs to provide proof that they are indeed the spouse of the person no longer living.
As The Shade Room previously reported, Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss has passed away at the age of 40 after an apparent suicide. Boss and Holker share two children, Maddox, 6, and Zaia, 3. While Boss also adopted Holker’s 14-year-old daughter, Elsie, from a previous relationship.
