Good news, #Roommates! After suffering a devastating injury on his left hand that left it broken, NBA superstar Steph Curry has updated Dub Nation fans regarding his condition and the hope he about returning to the court soon.
As we previously reported, Steph Curry sadly broke his left hand while going for the rim and that’s when he ran into Phoenix Suns player Aron Banes during the third quarter. This resulted in Steph landing improperly on his wrist, putting all of his body weight on his left hand.
This serves as another unfortunate blow to the Warriors so far this season, as they currently have a roster full of injuries. Klay Thompson could possibly be out for the entire season as he recovers from a torn ACL in his left knee. Additionally, the team is still missing one of its former star players in Kevin Durant, who is now officially a member of the Brooklyn Nets.
Despite all this, Steph recently updated his fans on social media about his current condition via a post on Instagram. In the photo, he’s in the hospital with a big smile on his face indicating that he’s in good spirits even though he’s likely in a lot of pain.
The caption on the photo read:
“Appreciate all the love/texts/support all that. Be back soon!”
He’s scheduled to have an MRI and CT scan to determine how bad the injury is and when he could possibly return to the game.
Like most professional athletes, Steph has endured injuries before, but this is the first time he has suffered an injury to his left hand. His previous list of injuries ranges from ankle sprains to tweaked ankles and hand contusions.
We want to wish Steph a speedy recovery!
Roommate, what are your thoughts on this?
