Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry was involved in a car collision early Friday.
According to ABC 7 News, the three-car crash happened before 9am on westbound Highway 24 on the Oakland side of the Caldecott Tunnel.
A Highway Patrol spokesperson said that Curry was hit twice. A car first spun out and hit him, and then a second car rear-ended him. Curry’s Porsche was damaged, but thankfully everyone involved appeared to be okay.
A CHP says that the weather likely played a role in the crash happening.
Prior to the incident, Curry was scheduled to sit out of Friday’s game against the Portland Trailblazers as he continues to recover from a groin injury.
Aside from scoring big on the basketball court, Curry has been scoring big with his production company. As we previously reported, Steph Curry and Viola Davis are currently on board to executive produce a documentary about the church shooting that took place in Charleston, SC.
Curry will serve as a producer under his Unanimous Media Company.
