Days later, and the hot topic of conversation is still Lizzo’s racy attire at a recent Lakers game. In case you missed it, Lizzo showed up to sit courtside wearing a long T-shirt that was cut out in the back to reveal her black thong—and caused quite an uproar. She has since addressed the criticism and moved on, but now we have an answer to all those who believed she should be banned from future games.
Lizzo has had an interesting week to say the least. At the start of it, she was dealing with the backlash from her basketball game attire and by the end, she was celebrating being named Entertainer of the Year by TIME magazine—however her thong and impromptu courtside twerk session is still what everyone is talking about. Now, according to @Complex, the president of the Staples Center (where Laker games are held) wants everyone to relax and also let Lizzo know that she is always welcomed.
Lee Zeidman, who is also president of the Microsoft Theater and L.A. Live, had a very special message for Lizzo and also slammed rumors that she was banned from the Staples Center:
“She is not banned from the Staples Center and is welcome here anytime. It’s ridiculous that these rumors get started and that people write these types of things without making any attempt to find out the truth. It’s very lazy and disrespectful.”
Well that finally settles it, but we wanna know when Lizzo is going to take the Houston Rockets dance team up on their offer and perform at halftime!
Roommates, what are your thoughts on this?
