Stacey Dash Reads Mean Tweets After Oscars Appearance “I’m Sick Of Your S– I’m Pulling Up”

When Stacey Dash made an unexpected appearance at the Oscars Sunday night, everyone was literally left speechless.

Her cameo was extremely hard to watch and very awkward to say the least. In a monologue that was meant to be “funny” host Chris Rock announced Dash as the Acadamy’s new Director of Minority Outreach. Yes, that really happened.

Anywho,  after she wished a happy Black History Month, the crowd was silent and most likely uncomfortable. Well, Stacey decided to let us in on just how bad Twitter roasted her. As you can imagine it was vicious!

I’ve always wondered what she thinks about when reading mean tweets and she gave us a glimpse of just that. Inspired by Jimmy Kimmels “Mean Tweets” segment, she read them aloud shortly after exiting the stage.

These are how some of the tweets went:

“I was hoping there was a trap door on the stage and @realstaceydash  would fall through.” via @ink_kid_smas

“@realstaceydash you sucked on the Oscars like you do on @foxnews pointless.” via @gurulec
Stacey in return defended her viewpoints and obviously has thick skin.

She went on to say  “there are a lot of people who don’t agree with me and have a lot of very mean things to say, which I will never live down, but here’s the thing, I do what I do because I want to do it, because I believe in it, it has nothing to do with race … I believe we are all equal. You should stop feeling that way too, that’s my suggestion. I don’t feel inferior, nor do I feel superior. I’m very happy about what I did, and I’m proud of it.”

What are your thoughts on her backlash? Let’s chat!
