Bill Cosby’s sex-assault allegations and testimonies have been bringing a lot of problems his way; including his most recent relationship departure with Spelman College.
The all-woman institution told the Associated Press Friday that they’ve decided to officially part ways with Bill Cosby just a year following their initial decision to suspend his professorship.
“The William and Camille Olivia Hanks Cosby Endowed Professorship at Spelman College has been discontinued and related funds have been returned to the Clara Elizabeth Jackson Carter Foundation,” Audrey Arthur, a Spelman spokeswoman said.
The program was established to bring positive attention and scholars to the campus; which totaled a $20 million donation to the college in 1988.
Although Bill says the sexual activity with various women was consensual and has never been charged with a crime, Spelman felt it was within its best interest to move forward without any money or relationship with him.
