Looks like while school was out one Hamptons school assistant principal was out having fun with Trey Songz and some of his video vixen homies!
Southampton High School’s assistant administrator, Esther Adler-O’Keefe, is under fire for her cameo in the video “Best Friend,” a song by rapper J.R. and Trey Songz.
We told you the tea surrounding this song when social media chick, TokyoxVanity went on a rant about possibly suing over rights to her original “Bestfriend” song. Well it looks like the tea just got a little bit hotter as students at the Hampton school were shocked to see their principal appear in the rump shaking video!
In the beginning of the video you can see Adler with her real-life hubby, Brian O’Keefe, handing over their mansion to J.R. as she says “Enjoy yourself. Just remember, security’s here.” Let’s just say as in any other HipHop video all hell breaks (or “azz” in this matter) breaks loose! Oh yeah of course security turned out to be nothing more than strippers who ended up doing nothing but securing another body to their list… But anyways !
Welp according to the NY Post, when the school found out about Adler’s side acting gig they released a statement blasting her actions.
“It has recently come to our attention that a member of our administrative staff appeared in a music video,”said the school’s superintendent Scott Farina said. “This is not representative of who we are as a district nor of our students and staff.”
He goes on to say that he doesn’t know the disciplinary action that may or may not take place because the district “cannot legally comment further” due to it being a “personal matter”.
In her own defense the assistant principal says she knew nothing of the nature of the kind of video she had agreed to act in.
“When I agreed to participate, I was completely unaware of the content, lyrics and title of the video and song,” she said in a statement e-mailed to The Southampton Press. “Had I known of such content or lyrics, I certainly would not have participated in any fashion. I find the lyrics and content of the music video vulgar, offensive and demeaning.”
Funny because Adler is seen at the end of the video coming back to a trashed house litered with booze, weed, and naked bodies!
Either way while the school’s district is acting all uptight about the video other people are coming to her side to defend her.
“Esther was only hired as an actress for her acting scenes,” a spokesperson for J.R. said. “She did her job and then left.”
Her students also chimed in on Twitter giving her the “coolest teacher ever” pass for her cameo:
Let’s chat below, should she face disciplinary action for appearing in the video or just let Trey Songz perform at the high school prom and let bygones be bygones?
