Soulja Boy’s Car Gets Stuck In Mudslide

Roommates, Soulja Boy is doing well after surviving a mudslide accident! Hallelujur! He took to Twitter to share the news, “my car got stuck too almost went into the ocean,” he said in response to a tweet referencing the Malibu Mudslides!

According to reports, flash floods have been issued throughout California. Many of those floods have caused dangerous mudslides affecting residents. Soulja went on to tweet, “was involved in a very bad car accident last night due to a flash flood and mudslide.” He also shared that he has yet to be able to retrieve his vehicle as it is “stuck in the water in the middle of the mudslide/flood.”

Luckily, he was able to find the silver lining in the situation because he also tweeted Thank God for another day, with new opportunities & blessings.” USA Today reports that the mudslides are caused from “a potent winter storm” and that it “hammered the West Coast” during the weekend. A number of drivers have since been trapped, and a major thoroughfare had to be shut down. They also report that the Pacific Coast Highway had been closed in both directions Saturday night. It won’t be until at least Monday when portions of the Malibu road will reopen, according to the California Department of Transportation.

Roommates let’s remember to keep all involved and surrounding the area in our thoughts and prayers as some have experienced watching their vehicles sink into mud up to 4 feet deep.

Ventura County Fire Captain Dennis O’Shea told the New York Times that, “some drivers actually stopped by our fire station and rang our doorbell to tell us there was flooding and people were trapped.” He went on to say, “those folks just happen to be in the worst part of it, and they just got stuck.”
