The house that J. Cole grew up in in Fayetteville, North Carolina was vandalized over the weekend. According to pictures that surfaced on Twitter, someone used black spray paint to question Cole’s love for his hometown.
It read, “J.Cole…Do you even care about the ville?”
If you’re a Cole fan, then you’re familiar with this house. It’s located on Forest Hills Drive, which he named his 3rd studio album after. He also repurchased the property back in 2014 to use as a rent-free home for single moms and their families.
According to ABC11, Fayetteville police said the incident wasn’t reported to them, and there currently aren’t any suspects named behind the vandalism.
The graffiti as since been painted over.
