Most recently, Yung Bleu’s “Moon Boy” album ranked #1 on Billboard Top 200 and #1 on Billboard Independent Albums. He even ranked #1 on Billboards R&B album, according to a recent post.
He also celebrated his first debut album selling 24K copies. “BIG W ! First album ! U gotta sell 24k before you sell 100k [fire emoji][moon emoji]!” he wrote. “#13 on @billboard ! First album! all Independent ! odds against us ! I only had like 10% of the industry supporting and posting My sh*t still did my thang ! Only up from here ! Classic #MoonBoy.”
Back in May, the artist also expressed being snubbed by the BET Awards. Yung Bleu said, in part, “Tired of being quiet sometimes. I be wondering who a** I gotta kiss to stop being sh*tted on. BET ya’ll know that’s some bullsh*t. Don’t say ya’ll don’t consider me a new artist either cause ya’ll think I just popped up after ‘You’re Mine Still.’”
