On Wednesday, Trina started to trend high on social media as many fans expressed their disappointment in some of her recent comments about the protests that have been going on in response to the killing of George Floyd.
The comments were made on Monday during her and Trick Daddy’s radio show on 99 Jamz Miami.
During their discussion, Trina shared her thoughts on the people who have been taking to the streets and looting during these protests. While discussing the curfew that has been set in Miami, she said, “They need to make the curfew from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. That’s how I feel. Keep everybody off the street. These animals off the street running around in Miami-Dade County acting like they…have escaped from a zoo. Lock them up at 5 p.m., so the streets could be nice and clean. That’s how I feel.”
As their debate continued, Trick Daddy said, “First of all, everybody wasn’t looting and burning up stuff. So, you cannot compare what other people are doing to the people that are using this for the wrong reasons because it’s a handful of them. It’s only a handful of them, the rest of us are tired of it. When the police get behind you and them red and blue lights come on, you’re not supposed to be scared.”
Trina responded and said, “I’m never scared. I have my license and registration and insurance. I’m not scared. I know my rights.”
Many fans were not happy about Trina’s response and started to call her out on Twitter:

Trina also addressed her other critics and said, “Don’t come on my page with ya’ll bullsh*t, because I got time today. Some of ya’ll are plain f*cking ignorant and nothing nobody do will help period.”
She continued, “The problem is with some of ya’ll. Ya’ll don’t wanna hear the truth. Well, ya’ll can be mad! Ya’ll should out that anger and frustration into doing something better. Instead of talking sh*t about people. This isn’t about me. I’ve done and I’m doing my part so leave me tf alone. What are you doing? My point exactly.”
