Earlier this year, Chris Brown shared a few spicy words for a man he said was “impersonating” him online. Now, social media users are reacting to the singer’s comment and the man, who appears to be a Breezy doppelganger.
A man on Instagram with the username @tigomgl recently caught Breezy’s attention. The user’s first active post appears to have been shared in November 2022. Since then, the man, whose name is listed as Tigo Fariah, has accumulated a following of over 234,000 users.
Additionally, Fariah appears to have amassed such a large interest by consistently sharing photos of himself and showing his undeniable physical resemblance to the singer.
It appears that a photo he shared on November 30, 2023, caught Breezy’s attention — so much so that the singer left a comment under the flick, criticizing the man for “impersonating” him.
“It’s lame as f**k impersonating me.. you look like you missing a chromosome. BE YOU MY N***A… YOU COULD NEVER BE ME ! SO STOP IT BEFORE I SLAP DA S**T OUT YOU” Breezy wrote.
To note, Breezy’s comment appears to have been shared 17 weeks ago, sometime in March of this year.
Social media users shared mixed reactions to the singer’s sentiments in The Shade Room’s comment section.
According to Captial Xtra, this is not the first time one of Breezy’s doppelgangers has caught the public’s attention. In 2020, an Instagram user with the handle @tysonwuthi turned heads for his resemblance to Brown.
It’s unclear whether Brown ever came across this man’s profile. However, earlier this month, the singer’s mother shared a photo of him posed alongside someone he previously called his “dark skin twin” — his dad, Clinton Brown, per The Shade Room.
In the flick, the pair posed side-by-side as they smiled at the camera.
The rare photo of Brown’s father left fans sharing a plethora of reactions.
