Here’s What Went Down With Kendrick Lamar
On Friday, March 22, Future and producer Metro Boomin released their 17-track album, ‘WE DON’T TRUST YOU.’ According to XXL, the project is the first of a two-project partnership between the duo.
The outlet adds that their second project is expected to be released on April 12.
Kendrick Lamar appeared as a guest on the project’s sixth song, ‘Like That.’ Furthermore, fans couldn’t help but notice his spicy bars, seemingly aimed at fellow rappers Drake and J. Cole.
“Yeah, get up with me, f**k sneak dissing/’First Person Shooter,’ I hope they came with three switches,” Lamar raps, seemingly referring to ‘First Person Shooter,’ Drake and Cole’s recently-released joint single.
Per Complex, Lamar then goes on to seemingly reference ‘For All The Dogs,’ Drake’s most recent album:
“Think I won’t drop the location? I still got PTSD
Motherf**k the big three, n***a, it’s just big me
n***a, bum, what? I’m really like that
And your best work is a light pack
N***a, Prince outlived Mike Jack’
n***a, bum, ‘fore all your dogs gettin’ buried

According to the outlet, on ‘First Person Shooter,’ J. Cole rapped about him, Drake and Lamar being the big three.
“Love when they argue the hardest MC/ Is it K-Dot? Is it Aubrey? Or me?/We the big three like we started a league.”
Additionally, in the song, Drake compared himself to Michael Jackson.
“What the f**k, bro? I’m one away from Michael/N***a, beat it, n***a, beat it, what?”

Drake and J. Cole have yet to publicly react to Lamar’s bars. However, Drake did take to Instagram on Thursday, March 21, to share a carousel of photos and videos from their ongoing ‘Big As The What’ tour.
According to Live Nation, the tour concludes on March 27 in Birmingham, Alabama.
