Footage Surfaces Of Latto Being Pulled Over By Police
On Friday, July 19, Raq Rarest published body cam footage of Latto being stopped by police. According to the date, the incident occurred on September 28, 2023, around 2 a.m.
In the footage, an officer walks up to Latto’s yellow vehicle and asks for her identification. Latto, whose real name is Alyssa Stephens, explains to the officer that she’s a rapper before briefly adding that she ran a red light because she was “trying to hurry up and get home.”
Furthermore, the rapper stated that fans recognized her car, and she wanted to keep the location of her destination safe.
Latto explained that she was celebrating a friend’s birthday at a club. Ultimately, the officer asked the rapper to take a breathalyzer test. Afterward, the officer presented Latto with a ticket for running a red light and encouraged her to be more careful while driving.

GloRilla & Lil Baby Previously Went Viral After Video Surfaced Of Their Arrests
Latto isn’t the only rapper who has had footage of their traffic stop surface on social media. In April, footage went viral of GloRilla being pulled over by cops. In the footage, she insisted she was okay. However, the officer noted smelling substances on her person and vehicle, per The Shade Room.
Last month, Lil Baby made headlines when news surfaced of him being pulled over in 2020. As The Shade Room previously reported, the rapper was cited for having the windows in his vehicle tinted too dark.
Like Latto, Baby appeared to be concerned with fans recognizing his car.
“Gotta have tints in Atlanta. These folks crazy,” he reportedly told the officer. “I’ll take a ticket before I have somebody follow me home.”
