Roommates, Ice Cube is currently a top trending topic on Twitter after Trump’s senior advisor recently thanked him for working with their campaign—he responded, but many on social media still have questions. Ice Cube also previously explained that his CWBA (Contract With Black America) Plan is instrumental in encouraging equality and promoting accessibility within the Black community.
Just days after Ice Cube released a video discussing the plan he has for Black America and what he wants from elected officials and current presidential candidates, Trump’s senior advisor Katrina Pierson took to Twitter to thank him for working with the Trump administration in helping to develop the platinum plan.
Pierson tweeted, “Shoutout to @icecube for his willingness to step up and work with @realDonaldTrump Administration to help develop the #PlatinumPlan.” Within minutes, Ice Cube was one of Twitter’s top trending topics with many absolutely dragging him for working with Trump in any capacity.
He responded to the criticism, writing:
“Facts: I put out the CWBA. Both parties contacted me. Dems said we’ll address the CWBA after the election. Trump campaign made some adjustments to their plan after talking to us about the CWBA.”
Ice Cube continued and also added this:
“Every side is the Darkside for us here in America. They’re all the same until something changes for us. They all lie and they all cheat but we can’t afford not to negotiate with whoever is in power or our condition in this country will never change. Our justice is bipartisan.”
His responses don’t seem to deny that he is indeed pro-Trump or working with him in some capacity—which has many fans more confused than ever.
