Snoop Dogg has landed himself another gig on television, and this time around he can now add the title of game show host to his resume.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Snoop will host the reboot of the 1970’s game show, “Joker’s Wild.” The show has been ordered straight to series on TBS and will premiere later this year.
The classic game show was created and hosted by Jack Barry and originally aired back in the early 1970’s before going on to different versions in syndication.
The updated version of the show will “feature entertaining mini-games replacing straight trivia questions in a tweak to the original series. It will feature giant dice, playing cards, streetwise questions and problem-solving with Snoop Dogg calling the shots.”
Snoop shared his excitement about hosting the show, he said, “I’m a huge fan of game shows and The Joker’s Wild was my favorite show growing up. It always matched the flavor and personality of Snoop Dogg! Me and the Snoopadelic team are excited to bring back the show and put my own personal touch on it. Get ready ya’ll, it’s gonna be a wild ride!”
Snoop will serve as an executive producer on the show along with Michael Strahan and Vincent Rubino.
Roommates, will you be tuned in?
