Roommates, Skai Jackson is growing up on us! The former Disney Star celebrated her 19th birthday on Thursday. Her Instagram followers got the opportunity to share her day with her. Skai dropped five photos in which she bodied a cornrows look and a glitzy-like glam.
The now 19-year-old gave us two looks. The first and last picture in the slider she posted shows a netted, black and silver cover-up with a matching head scarf. Underneath the see-through dress, Skai rocked a solid black piece. The remaining photos show her in a shimmering pink and blue dress called ‘Chainmail’ that was designed by the clothing brand, Death By Dolls. The dress featured a v-neck cut and chain, spaghetti-like straps adorned with white jewels. Skai accessorized with what appears to be a diamond, chocker necklace and glittery silver nails. Skai credited the nails (with a tag) to an artist named Tav. In her caption, Skai named Zadrian Smith as the stylist using a tag and the hashtag #StyledbyZadrianSmith.
The star of the show, besides Skai herself, were definitely her thin, straight-back cornrows that reached past her lower back. Her edges were laid all the way down in cute sweeps and swirls. The braids were complimented by yellow, brown, red and green wooden beads with intricate linear and circular designs. Skai tagged Kia Harper in the photos as the hair stylist.
Her natural make-up beat featured light shimmering eyeshadow, diamonds on her eyelids and glossy, brown lips. The beat was done by Los Angeles-based artist Alexandrè Jairus Valenzuela, according to Skai’s tag. In the photos, Skai poses near a white wall, against a dark gray backdrop, inside a pool and sitting pretty near the pool.

A little over a week ago, Skai was caught up in a social media spat involving Jordyn and Jodie Woods. Jordyn took to her Insatgram to address nameless bullies targeting her sister. A short time after, Skai posted to her Instagram story and cleared the air.
“Jodie Woods and I have never had an issue,” Skai wrote. “We spoke, and are confused about this fake drama. And it’s very sickening. Please leave us alone! Here we go.. making up stories and turning nothing into something.. give me a break!”
