TSR Prayers Up: Roommates, although we are saddened to report that Sinbad recently suffered a stroke, we are glad to report that his family says he is currently in recovery.
According to the Associated Press, Sinbad is currently recovering, and although his family does not detail the cause of the stroke, or the severity of it, they are optimistic that he will be back to bringing his fans laughter very soon.
“Sinbad is a light source of love and joy for many generations,” the Adkins family tells AP. “While he is beginning his road to recovery, we are faithful and optimistic that he will bring laughter into our hearts soon.”
The statement continues saying, “Our family thanks you in advance for your love and support and ask for continued prayers for his healing. We also ask that you please respect our privacy during this time.”
The 64-year-old comedian has been part of the entertainment industry for decades. Y’all might know him from his role in “A Different World”, and the jokes he told on his comedy show, “The Sinbad Show.” He has also made an appearance in notorious films such as “Good Burger” and “The Cherokee Kid”.
Sinbad has been pretty active on social media, and even announced that he would be traveling to different cities to perform a few stand up shows back in September and October.
