Social Media Reacts
Social media users immediately entered The Shade Room’s comment section to share their reactions to Guobadia linking up with Whitfield specifically. To note, Whitfield and Guobadia’s estranged wife, Porsha Williams, shared a rocky relationship filming ‘RHOA.’ Bravo TV notes that Whitfield has referred to Williams as “self-centered” and “selfish,” while Williams has openly shared that she doesn’t “trust” Whitfield.
Television host Funky Dineva wrote, “The Rhoa ladies hanging out with Simon then running to social media to post it is nasty work!! There is something so unsettling about this. As if he’s Denzel Washington or somebody. He’s a local Atlanta businessman, big deal. So what’s the real motive here? Then to be women who have gone through divorce, makes it even worse. How bout just stay… out of it?”
Simon Guobadia Shares A Message For The Critics
This isn’t the first time Guobadia has linked up with one of his estranged wife’s ‘RHOA’ castmates. As The Shade Room previously reported, in March, Guobadia popped out alongside NeNe Leakes.
Furthermore, their link-up arrived just a few days after Leakes accused Williams of refusing to work with her on a television project. At the time, Leakes told social media users that Williams appeared to be upset at her for not reaching out after news of her divorce from Guobadia went public, per The Shade Room.
Naturally, Guobadia’s link-up with Leakes prompted a few raised eyebrows on social media.
However, Guobadia doesn’t appear to be fazed by the back-to-back criticism from social media users. In fact, on April 24, he returned to Instagram to share a message for those “irritated” by his life’s “journey.”
“If Sharing My Life’s Journey in Real Time Irritates Your Soul, ‘Unfollow’ with Alacrity,” he posted.
Additionally, he captioned his post with:
“I pray you find peace in your expeditious exit 🙏🏾”
