Simon Guobadia Speaks On Porsha William’s Alleged Mystery Man
According to RadarOnline, Guobadia has demanded that Williams refrain from destroying text messages between her and a man named Kelvin Owusu-Ansah. Additionally, Guobadia is requesting that all correspondence between Williams and her sister, Lauren Williams, and Williams and Karen McKinney be protected.
Guobadia also adds that all cell phone data, income, and financial records should also be kept from the group.
“[Porsha] is further notified that a failure to comply with this notice may result in sanctions for any destruction or failures to preserve any such evidence, including without limitation adverse inferences against Petitioner at trial, sanctions, as well as an award of expenses and attorney fees necessitated by such conduct,” Guobadia’s filing reads, per the outlet.
At this time, however, Guobadia has not specified why he’s asking for these records to be protected.
Here’s Why Porsha Williams Reportedly Requested An Emergency Hearing
RadarOnline reports that Williams requested an emergency hearing after Guobadia recently changed the locks at their shared mansion in Georgia. Williams alleges that Guobadia has “fled” to Dubai and not only changed the locks but also changed the garage codes at their residence.
“[Simon Guobadia allegedly did so] multiple times to thwart Wife’s attempts to access her home, seemingly to be vindictive and retaliatory for wanting to divorce him,” Williams’ filing reportedly states, per the outlet.
Additionally, Williams’s filing states that the incident occurred on March 21. On the date, Williams learned that Guobadia allegedly “disabled her access to the gate of the Marital Residence, effectively blocking her ability to access her own residence.”
Williams allegedly attempted to resolve the issue with Guobadia’s counsel. However, after “those attempts were unsuccessful,” Williams was “able to contract a separate company to restore her access.”
Furthermore, Williams alleges that after she left the home, Guobadia immediately disabled her access once again.
Now, Williams is requesting a court to give her “exclusive access” to the Georgia mansion.
“Husband’s actions have resulted in Wife and Wife’s minor child being displaced from their residence, and appears to be in retaliation for Wife’s decision to pursue the instant divorce action,” the filing reportedly states. “Wife further shows that Husband appears to have fled the country to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and it is unknown when or whether he intends to return.”
The ‘RHOA’ Star Also Reportedly Cited Her & Simon Guobadia’s Prenup
According to RadarOnline, Williams has asserted that she and Guobadia have shared the residence since November 2022. Around the same time, they signed a prenup.
The agreement reportedly stated that Guobadia would vacate the home “within 30 days of the divorce being filed in court.” To note, Williams filed for divorce from Guobadia on February 22.
“Upon an Event of Dissolution, PORSHA shall have the right to remain in and occupy the Marital Residence (including up to the date the Marital Residence is sold, if the Marital Residence is sold). Upon the Event of Dissolution, SIMON shall physically vacate (i.e., cease living in) the Marital Residence within thirty (30) days. Provided, however, SIMON shall be permitted to leave his personal property (e.g., vehicles) in the Marital Residence for a period of up to six (6) months from the Event of Dissolution,” the prenup reportedly reads.
According to the outlet, Guobadia has not contested to move out. However, he reportedly “proposed the date of March 31.” In response, Williams rejected his proposal, which allegedly led to the events on March 21.
The outlet adds that a new lawyer for Guobadia has informed Williams that her estranged husband “would not be vacating and planned to stay in the home.”
“Mr. Guobadia intends to maintain the status quo and continue to occupy the Marital Residence with his children until such time that the parties have resolved the issues in this case and there is a court order regarding the same. As such, Mr. Guobadia will not vacate the property on March 22, 2024,” Guobadia’s lawyer reportedly asserted, per RadarOnline.
