Congrats! Shamea Morton To Welcome Baby Using Same Surrogate Who Carried Kandi Burruss’ Daughter Blaze

Kandi Burruss Tucker recently revealed that Shamea Morton is expecting a baby by way of the same surrogate she used.

Appreciation Of “Blessings On Blessings On Blessings”

The news came through an Instagram post on Tuesday. Beneath a photo of her and Shamea, Kandi started off her caption by speaking on the bond they share.

“My girl @shameamorton & I share a bond nobody can break! We got a lot to celebrate.”

The R&B icon went on to explicitly speak on how Shamea is expecting a baby via surrogacy, which was announced earlier this month. Then, Kandi made the revelation that Shadina Blunt is the one carrying Shamea’s unborn child.

For context, Shadina is the woman who carried Kandi’s youngest child, Blaze.

“Shamea has a baby on the way via surrogate! @shadinablunt is carrying @shameamorton’s bundle of joy & we’re all excited! Blessings on blessings on blessings!”

About a day after Kandi’s upload, Shamea reposted the photo and added some warm words of her own.

“My #WCW is my baby momma @kandi. She’s so selfless! Always giving and doing for others. She introduced me to my surrogate and any time there’s an opportunity from hosting gigs to acting, she puts me on.”

Shadina Has Been Featured On RHOA

With Kandi being a consistent fixture on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, it’s no surprise that her surrogate journey made it onto the series.

Kandi and her husband, Todd Tucker, began discussing the matter back during season 11, and Shadina made appearances while carrying Blaze during season 12.

Notably, Kandi and Shadina continued to keep in touch even after Blaze was welcomed into the world.

Ahead of the premiere of Kandi and the Gang on Bravo, Shadina was spotted showing support down in Atlanta.

Now, just like she did for Kandi, Shadina is helping Shamea grow her family.

Why Shadina Became A Surrogate

While on the subject, we should add that Shadina has opened up about her path to becoming a surrogate.

In a video, Shadina explains that the primary reason she became a surrogate is to specifically help women with fertility issues have children.

It’s unclear what the sex of the unborn baby is, and Shamea previously noted that her child’s due sometime in 2023.

Congratulations to Shamea Morton and her family as they await the birth of their new bundle of joy!
