Sexyy Red is opening up about what allegedly prompted an intimate video of her to go viral on social media earlier this year.

Sexyy Red Opens Up About The NSFW Video
The 25-year-old rapper appeared as a recent guest on ‘The Breakfast Club’ for an episode that premiered on Friday, December 15. During the group’s conversation, host Charlamagne tha God questioned Red about allegedly “leaking” her NSFW tape “on purpose.”
“Now people said you leaked your s*x tape on purpose because of ‘Pound Town,” Charlamagne Tha God told the rapper.
‘Pound Town‘ is one of Sexyy Red’s hit singles, which even garnered a feature from rap veteran Nicki Minaj.
“No, that was the wackest video,” the rapper responded. “I was tired, I was fat, pregnant — I didn’t even feel like doing s**t on there, and then, that’s the one that f*****g gets leaked!”
Charlamagne Tha God and fellow co-host DJ Envy questioned the rapper about how the tape leaked to the public. Red explained that no one had stolen or “broke into” her phone.
“It was in the moment, and then [sic] sat the phone down, threw it, and then it had accidentally pressed [post],” Red explained.

The Rapper Recently Revealed Her Pregnancy
The rapper also shocked fans when she went viral after revealing she was pregnant in October. As The Shade Room previously reported, the 25-year-old took to Instagram to share a photo cradling her growing baby bump.
In the post’s caption, the rapper wrote, “Team boy or team girl.”
Shortly after sharing the news, Sexyy Red returned to Instagram to reflect on past outings where she had hidden her pregnancy from the public. Additionally, the 25-year-old explained that she decided to share the news with fans because she was “tired of fakin.”
