#SerenaWilliams is goals on goals on goals that keep coming in many different forms!
Yesterday, she won her first singles tennis match since being away and giving birth to her adorable baby girl #AlexisOlympian.
Serena said she was a little rusty and it “definitely wasn’t easy” adding, “It was incredible. It’s been over a year and a kid later. I get to go home to her now and I’m excited about that.”
As we’ll all never forget, Serena’s last appearance was when she won the #AustralianOpen while pregnant! Yassss!!
“It is a journey for me and I am just going to go for it,” she said. “I wanted to stay fit and just be ready…I wasn’t ready to retire yet even though it would have been a great way to retire.”
