Kim Kardashian has made a major announcement concerning her clothing brand SKIMS and the National Basketball Association.
Kim Kardashian revealed the news via social media on Monday, October 30. On Instagram, the 43-year-old shared a carousel of photos that featured her standing alongside NBA Commissioner Adam Silver and one of the SKIMS co-founders, Jens Grede.
In the post’s caption, Kardashian explained that SKIMS is now the “Official Underwear partner” of the NBA, WNBA, and USA Basketball.
“Introducing the SKIMS and NBA partnership. @SKIMS is now the Official Underwear Partner of the @NBA, @WNBA and @Usabasketball”
Kardashian also shared a statement about the partnership, per Daily Mail.
“I am incredibly proud of SKIMS partnership with the NBA, as it is a reflection of SKIMS growing influence on culture,” Kardashian said. “Together, SKIMS and the NBA will connect people of all backgrounds through fashion, sport, and talent, and I look forward to seeing the partnership thrive.”
According to TMZ, the partnership between the entities is part of a “multiyear deal.” Additionally, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has detailed what fans expect from the partnership.
“SKIMS has quickly become one of our most culturally-influential brands,” Silver said, per Daily Mail. “
We look forward to bringing NBA fans and SKIMS users unique experiences, new offerings and premium products through our partnership.

Additionally, the Daily Mail notes that the partnership follows Kardashian recently launching SKIMS Mens on October 26.
