Saweetie is sharing her thoughts on spinning the block when it comes to her exes. As The Shade Room previously reported, in January, a source exclusively revealed that the rapper’s romance with YG came to an end.
Before dating YG, Saweetie was in a years-long relationship with Quavo.
On Thursday, February 8, the 30-year-old appeared as a guest on a live episode of Shannon Sharpe and Chad “Ochocino” Johnson’s ‘Nightcap’ podcast.
As she appeared on stage, Sharpe talked about the moment he heard Saweetie would be a guest on the show.
“When I got the memo earlier today, talkin’ bout Saweetie, I was like, ‘Saweetie, Saweetie?'” he explained. “I hate to say this — I said, ‘the one that used to date Quavo?”
Saweetie replied, “Now, why do you do that to me?… That’s all I got?”
Sharpe explained that he was only clarifying who their guest would be. However, Saweetie shared that she doesn’t want to be referred to by way of any of her ex-boyfriends.
“So I guess there’s no chance of you spinning the block with an ex?” Sharpe asked.
In response, Saweetie explained that she “doesn’t really spin the block.”
Sharpe then asked if she’d ever consider doing so.
“You know what, I don’t have a record of doing that. So, no,” she said.
Sharpe then posed another question.
“So when you done, you done?” he asked.
Saweetie then responded.
“Up until now, yes,” she said.
Sharpe appeared to think that Saweetie’s response left a slight chance at reconciliation with one of her exes. But Saweetie quickly shut that down.
“Well, if I met the right one, I wouldn’t have to spin the block,” she said.

As The Shade Room previously reported, Saweetie and YG were initially spotted together in May 2023. At the time, the pair was photographed getting cozy in a pool in Cabo, Mexico.
A few months later, the rapper was spotted at one of Usher’s residency concerts in Las Vegas. However, she appeared to want no part of getting cozy with the singer while he serenaded her and seemingly showed her loyalty to her boo.
Then, in January, an unnamed source exclusively revealed that YG and Saweetie called off their romance. Instead of being boos, the pair reportedly thought it would be better to remain friends and focus on their careers.
However, just a few days later, YG appeared unsatisfied with his and Saweetie’s recent decision.
