Saucy Santana will always stand ten toes down for his bestie, Yung Miami. The day after ‘Caresha Please’ premiered, Saucy Santana responded to the interview reactions on TikTok.
Earlier this week, Miami sat down with Saucy to address all the smoke, which included her experience dating Diddy, her mental health, and what led to the end of the City Girls era with JT.
On TikTok, Santana spoke about the interview, thanked his supporters for their positive feedback, and explained why he took on the role of interviewing Caresha.
“The reason why I was the interviewer is because its been a real tough time for Caresha behind the scenes and I was there. I feel like I went through it with her. Every day, it was me and her, phone calls, there was times I would get up and go to Miami just to be with her.”
Saucy mentioned that he couldn’t picture anyone else interviewing Miami because she’s so private. He added that he doubted anyone else could get her to really open up and be vulnerable.
The ‘Material Girl’ rapper continued to defend his sis Miami by supporting her truth and urging others to stop pressuring her about things she had never experienced.
“A part of the reason it took her so long to speak was because she knew that y’all would be upset, because her truth is not what y’all want to hear. Because people love negativity and drama sells and y’all want it so bad for that to have happened to her and for that to have been her experience and it was not!”
Santana also discussed Miami and JT’s relationship and their decision to focus on their solo careers. He also said that he felt like fans contributed to the drama between the rappers.
“They were just living two different lives. They got into relationships, they had different ways of thinking, different aspirations, different taste in music. And that’s fine. I really wish earlier before everything blew up, there could’ve been a conversation. At the end of the day it’s all love. I love them both. Both of them are my sisters for life! I love them for life nothing is going to change that. Period!”
During the ‘Caresha Please’ premiere, Santana asked Miami why she had never spoken about the allegations and lawsuits against Diddy.
“I can’t speak on something that wasn’t my experience. And I can’t speak on something I don’t know. I can’t speak on these allegations because I wasn’t around at the time. I don’t know that person and that wasn’t my experience.”
Miami admitted that ending her relationship with Diddy was painful. She chose to focus on herself and her family while letting Diddy handle things on his own.
“It really really really hurt me. Puff was a really good person to me. He came and he help me, he elevated me. He saw a lot of things in me. He was able to see more than music in me. And I felt like he brought out another side of me, he brought out my gentle side.”
Yung Miami and Diddy shook up the innanet when they officially confirmed their relationship during the debut episode of ‘Caresha Please’ in 2022.
Amid the speculations about their relationships, Caresha appeared in Diddy’s ‘Gotta Move On Remix’ music video. She also joined him onstage at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards and walked the red carpet with him at the 2023 Met Gala.
