Actress, Sanaa Lathan, adds singer to her resume after she releases a new song call “Emotional” featuring Dej Loaf. Question is who knew Sanaa could sangggg!?
Anyways “The Perfect Man” hit theaters this past Friday and it is safe to say after listening to this song, Micheal Ealy’s character isn’t going to win Sanaa over on or off the screen!
The actress reached out to major producer, Detail, to make her first song a hit! Detail’s resume includes Beyoncé’s “Drunk In Love” and “7/11” along with other songs for industry greats like Lil Wayne and Drake.
Detail told Yahoo! that the song came about after he saw the trailer for the new movie:
“I was looking at the trailer and I said, ‘Wow. That’s an emotional n*gga. Everybody started laughing and Sanaa said, ‘Exactly.“
The two supposedly met through French Montana, a rumored real life love interest of Sanaa.
Sanaa also posted her excitement for the new single on IG:
