Chile, Safaree Samuels hopped in Kanye West’s business on Thursday with a lil’ tweet. The reality star and music artist randomly decided to comment on Ye’s latest fashion choices. And his conclusion? Kanye just ain’t doing it like he use to!
“I’ve always been a Kanye fan but I really hate how he’s been dressing these last 2 years… he use to be inspiration with clothes and jewelry,” Safaree wrote. “Now this guy just wears hoodies and black gloves and it bothers me.”
Although Safaree threw some laughing emojis behind his words, the tweet drew mixed reactions. Users like @Tmib33 agreed with Safaree saying, “And space shoes, don’t forget the space shoes.” Meanwhile users like @stankbvssy, took the opportunity to roast Safaree saying, “And yet he still can dress better than u.”
But the reaction that drew a response from Safaree was the circulation of an old video involving an old flame. One user named @iamkingmarlon shared a clip of Nicki Minaj snapping on Safaree regarding a jean jacket.
“That jacket don’t look good with that,” Safaree said off-camera as Nicki entered the frame.
“The jacket looks great,” Nicki quickly interjected. “I don’t know what you’re talking about but every woman in here is going to like that, please, you wore a jean vest.”
Safaree didn’t respond to the user, but he did recruit an ally in the jean-loving world. The entertainer took to his Instagram Story with a throwback photo of Lenny Kravitz wearing a jean jacket and the caption “jean vest fire.”
Shortly after The Shade Room reposted Safaree’s post, Tank sprinkled his thoughts into the conversation via the comment section.
“Says the guy with no clothing line, no clothing endorsements, and absolutely no fashion sense,” Tank wrote.
“Hey I use to be a fan of you …now you suck,” Safaree responded.
“You’re still fan…stop it…lol,” Tank responded. At that point, the Jamaican badman agreed saying “your right.”
